Myron Ubungen, MSN, RN

San Jose, CA has always been and continues to be my home. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. I am pursuing a Post-Master of Science for a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. I found my love for natural medicine on a quest to heal my own health issues that were unsolvable by conventional medicine. Inspired by my own health transformation, I then studied and continue to study nutrition and herbal medicine.

At Pacific Coast Dermatology, I appreciate the like-minded philosophy of medical treatments: emphasizing integrative, natural, and nutritional means to restore patients’ health. The health and appearance of our skin can be a great window to the inward health of the individual. My experiences have provided me with extensive knowledge in addressing a multitude of health concerns, focusing on autoimmune issues, digestive disorders, skin problems, and preventative medicine.  I utilize nutritional assessment and lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine and nutritional supplements, and homeopathy to stimulate the natural healing processes of the body. I have special training in IV infusions and phlebotomy. I believe health is a condition of being sound in body, mind, and spirit. By determining the root cause of disease, and addressing nutrition and lifestyle, I believe individuals can maximize their health.

With my wife Monica and two sons Jeremy and Zachary, and daughter Audrey, I enjoy cooking, traveling, exercising, music, reading, and the outdoors.
