DR. Sue KIM, m.d.

Dr. Sue Kim is a dedicated practitioner at One Medical and partners with Pacific Coast Dermatology to deliver wellness and restorative health services. With specialty training in integrative medicine, medical acupuncture, and hematology, she emphasizes prevention in her practice. Sue focuses on combining conventional medicine with lifestyle recommendations and complementary therapies, prioritizing less-invasive but effective treatments when suitable. She has shared her expertise on nutrition and lifestyle management through talks at Google and in her community, and she is affiliated with the Stanford Center for Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Kim gives quarterly talks to Pacific Coast Dermatology patients and staff, educating them about the latest data on weight loss medications, combined with nutritional management, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle. She also oversees the weight management and wellness programs.

Sue maintains her health and wellness by engaging in activities such as running, playing tennis, hiking, and biking. She also enjoys cooking and exploring art in her free time. Dr. Kim earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, completed her residency at Brown University, and moved to the Bay Area for a hematology fellowship at Stanford, where she also earned a master's degree in epidemiology. She is board-certified in internal medicine, integrative and holistic medicine, and medical acupuncture.
