Alexa Makreas, Team marketer

Alexa has over a decade of experience in marketing & communications working with companies ranging from small businesses to public tech companies. In her full-time work, she works in Venture Capital and is Head of Marketing, Communications, and Events for Salesforce Ventures.

Initially, as a patient of Dr. Shaheen Khosla’s, she now enjoys working with and supporting the entire Pacific Coast Dermatology team in their marketing initiatives. As a previous small-business owner herself, she has a passion for working with local businesses founded and run by minorities and female-founders. She continues to mentor and work with various local businesses in the hospitality, medical, and wellness spaces. She holds a BA in Sociology from UC Berkeley. As a Bay Area native, Alexa enjoys being centrally based out of San Mateo with access to all the nature and great food the Bay Area has to offer.
